This sculpture was created by Frederick MacMonnies. He was a 20th century artist. This sculpture is called the Bacchante with Infant Faun. I believe this sculpture allows us to see our society as it is. The woman are the main care takers of children and they do a very good job with it. Females also love doing this for all children. The sculpture shows a woman carrying a baby with what looks to be a toy in her hand. She is playing with this baby making sure it is happy with her. This artist is phenomenal because I believe he has trully shaped our society in his work.
